FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you provide the alcohol?
No—we’re what's called a dry-hire service. You supply the alcohol, and we’ll guide you on what to buy, how much you’ll need, and where to find the best value. We even have a sommelier on our team who can provide specific wine suggestions based on your menu.
What services do you provide?
We provide the hospitality and the beverage know-how. Before the event, we give expert guidance on your beverage service and can develop an inventive bar menu just for you. We will discuss the goals and vision of your gathering and begin planning the magic.
On event day, MIXD shows up with licensed and insured bartenders and full compliance with Washington State liquor laws. We bring all of the essentials: mixers, garnishes, cups, ice, napkins, straws, and all the bar tools. We set up the bar station and do the teardown. We can also create custom menus and signage. You get to spend time with your guests while we keep the party rolling!
Do you create non-alcoholic options?
Definitely - everybody deserves a great drink! Our non-alcoholic options are crafted with the same care and attention to balanced flavors as our cocktails. In fact, we can do completely alcohol-free parties including birthday parties for any age!
What about insurance and licensing?
All bartenders are MAST-certified, and MIXD carries both general and liquor liability insurance for your peace of mind.
Do you have a minimum event price?
No strict minimums. Whether it’s a simple beer and wine service or a full bar with craft cocktails, we can tailor a plan that fits your event and budget. Tell us what you have in mind and let's see how we can make it work!
Is there a minimum or maximum guest count?
Nope—we serve everything from cozy dinner parties to social gatherings with hundreds of guests.
What is your service area?
Our home base is the greater Seattle area (Everett, Seattle, Bellevue). Events outside this area may be possible depending on our calendar; a travel fee may apply.
What is the style of your bar setup?
Our bar is sleek and minimalist - it's essentially a blank slate that can blend into the background or we can customize our setup to match your unique vision.
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better, especially during peak wedding and holiday seasons. But if our schedule allows, we are happy to accommodate last-minute events. Send us an inquiry with your date to cheers@mixdbymartino.com.
